Economic Collapse, Gingrich, Romney, Obama & Pat Robertson’s New Year’s Word

Fear of man vs. Fear of God

The following is from CBN’s program, “The 700 Club,” on New Year’s Day 2012, or very shortly thereafter.

The visitor may have seen scoffing treatments of it, at leftist Web sites. Here it is, from the source. I have observed some past occasions of Mr. Robertson’s words and senses, ostensibly of the Holy Spirit (something shown a gift of God in our age, in the book 1 Corinthians, ch. 12-14 and in other Scriptures). A close family member of mine was healed of a neck problem, when such a healing was pronounced during one of the 700 Club’s prayers. A couple times, it seems he got it wrong – perhaps those were occasions when God warned of something and later relented, by his grace and mercy. That is very different than a promise of something good (Obama not being reelected) then a reneging. The Bible states that God does not take back His gifts.

I do not recall any of Robertson’s virtually annual New Year words that was not correct. When, for his New Year’s 2008 confession he told listeners that the Lord told him Barack Obama would be the next president, many ridiculed and even he wondered if he had heard correctly.

I will have a few comments to add, a bit later. Meanwhile, I would ask those who  are moved by the word of man to fear that opposing Mitt Romney will bring about a second Barack Obama term, to take heart – and to behave soberly, as a Sovereign Citizen responsible for the direction of our nation. In other words, switch fear from horizontal to vertical.

For now, I leave the Bible believer this warning:

  1. Consider Mitt Romney, apparently unrepentant of his implementation of Agenda 21 policy in Massachusetts, also his heavy funders of Goldman Sachs and other globalist central-bank related financiers (like Goldman, numerous of which are also heavy funders of Obama) – also his consistent record of deceit. (By which of his promises might you feel compelled?)
  2. Then, remember Esau and the American Citizen’s responsibility, accountable before God, to maintain our popular and national sovereignties. This is a birthright so many who are now a “cloud of witnesses” in Heaven have died to preserve and for you also to preserve, for those who come after.

Edits, Saturday, August 4, 2012:

Quoting Robertson, after saying he believes he knows who the next president is to be, but is not supposed to tell, he from his experience, believes he is quoting from the Lord:

“Your country will be torn apart by internal stress. A house divided cannot stand. Your president holds a radical view of the direction of your country, which as at odds with the majority. Expect chaos and paralysis.”

“This is a spiritual battle which can only be won by overwhelming prayer. The future of the world is at stake, because if America falls, there’s no longer a strong champion of freedom and a champion of the oppressed of the world. There must be an urgent call to prayer.”

“…time of maximum stress and peril, greater than at any time since the CBN ministry began… this country will begin disintegrating.”

“…it’s an economic collapse.” And God said, and I quote, “This is not my judgment. They are bringing it upon themselves.”

The next president – the Lord said it’s going to be like a pilot in an airplane, who takes the controls as the plane is going into a steep dive and grabs control to try to bring the thing away from a crash. We’re heading for a crash, a financial crash of major proportions and the next president is going to be left having to grab the controls and you know, do all the things he — but it’s tough to do, because the machine doesn’t want to right itself, it’s too – the momentum is so bad.

But, at least Pat Robertson’s ministry is to have (is having) a great harvest of people turning their hearts to the Lord. That is not uncommon, during threatening and calamitous times.

Further, he warns against a factional, party spirit, quoting Scripture, “Such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.” He refers instead, to “the fruit of the Spirit,” from Galatians 5 and warning that Americans and America must exercise self control.

Is it too late, for self control? No, it is never too late to repent (which means “turn”) but it is apparently too late to avoid crisis, if not calamity.
