Communist Party USA Boasts Working Relationship with AFL-CIO’s Richard Trumka in their Elections Analysis

CPUSA Labor Commission Chairman, Scott Marshall emphasized their working relationship with the AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka, in what he calls their continuing efforts of “independent” union organizations operating in, or for political campaigns.  This occurs beginning at the 12:05 mark of the 11/8/2010 video, “CPUSA analysis of the  Mid Term Elections,” presented below.

Marshall’s words: “Not only did the campaigning take place from union halls et cetera, et cetera, but this time, as, uh, Trumka told us when he was in Chicago, they began with the nuts and bolts a’ building independent labor campaign organizations in specific five key cities around the country, of which Chicago was one.  I think the question of how we

One should be apprised, this broadcast and interview were produced by PoliticalAffairs.net and the Progressive Podcast Network.  This further underscores a working solidarity between self avowed Communists and America’s progressives.

From Trevor Loudon, New Zeal:

It is a good idea to understand how the opposition thinks.

Here, leading members of the highly influential Communist Party USA analyze the recent Mid Term election results.

Over all, they’re not happy.

  1. McCarthy is dead for good reasons.

The world’s working class will not let reactionary cock-a-roaches resurrect his poisonous legacy!

    • Milosevic, are you now, or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?

      Just asking. ;-`

      • i am and im 16 yrs old i have the flag of the great soviet union in my room to symbolize my love for us workers

        • What is it you work at Matty boy? You work but you don’t want to keep what you earn? No I forgot, the “us workers” want to keep what they earn they just want to take what their neighbors earn away. Just keep in mind little Matty, once you say it is ok to steal from one person, you may be the neighbor “us workers” are stealing from next year. And while you’re at it, study a little history a find out how many “us worker” were murdered by Stalin in the great Soviet Union, far more than Hitler murdered. I point that out not to minimize the evil that Hitler perpetrated but to point out that evil us evil under any name, even in the name of “us workers”.

        • Your a STUPID ASS KID. YOU SHOULD [removed] THAT COMMY FLAG UP YOUR [removed]

  2. There is a progressive party right in our own Government, it is allowed, I dont’ think it should be, Its called the progressive caucus. Now Bill Ayers and his wife Bernadette are being given a voice, they are terrorists, they killed people, Bill now works for North west University, I thik he just retired, why is he allowed to be around young people? Years ago the worse thing you coudl be called was a communist, now its a racist, communism is so OK it is in our white house. We need the house of UnAmerican activities to come back and take over who is in the whitehouse and our Gov. or we will never get rid of these roaches. Nancy Pelosi put some of them in the caucus, good paying jobs , maybe they can go with her when they kick her out of office. I just wish people cared more about who is minding the store.
Communism is not OK. These peopel are here , they enjoy everything America has to offer and most of them have great jobs, and then they complain about America, who does that sound like?

  3. As a Navy vet and member of the AFT, this is sad to know. I should have known.
