David Trujillo

David Trujillo is a prominent Southern California Communist Party USA leader. He serves on the Los Angeles Board of Neighborhood Commissioners.

In the 1990s, Trujillo was Chair of Los Angeles’ Northeast Chapter of the radical Mexican American Political Association, a hugely influential body for exerting Marxist pressure on the Democratic Party.

David Trujillo is currently a Union Representative with the Union of American Physicians and Dentists which is affiliated with AFSCME, AFL-CIO and has been active in the Trade Union Movement for over 15 years. He has served as the Southern California Political Director for the State Council of the Service Employees International Union and has been an organizer and labor representative for SEIU and AFSCME.

In 1997, Comrade Trujillo attended the Harvard Trade Union Program where he studied at the Kennedy School of Government. In addition, Mr. Trujillo received his Masters Degree in Union Leadership and Administration from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.

In 2002, Trujillo, who is from Southern California, was a member of the Political Action Commission of the Communist Party USA, the body charged with infiltrating and manipulating the Democratic Party.

David Trujillo has served under two different City Council members, serving with former City Council member Mike Hernandez in the First Council District and Former City Council member Richard Alarcon (brother of leading Communist Evelina Alarcon, in the Seventh Council District, both in the role of Chief Deputy.

Trujillo has been involved in the Highland Park Los Angeles Neighborhood Initiative (LANI) Program, the Los Angeles Workforce Investment Board, Prop K Oversight Committee, Labor-to-Neighbor, Health Community Coalition, Neighbors for Peace Greater Eastside Voter Registration and Education Program, and various other grassroots community organizations.

In 2014, Trujillo was a member of the Communist Party USA Labor Commission, the body charged with infiltrating and manipulating the union movement.
