Word is out, Barry Soetoro (some call him President Obama, he thinks of himself as “Citizen of the World”) intends to extend the George W. Bush tax cuts, but only for individuals making less than $250,000 in the name of “tax fairness,” as redistributive, Marxian logic presents. It remains to be seen what the effect would be, upon small businesses making over $250,000 in taxable income.

Just in time for his re-election campaign does this come. However, what about Obamacare? What about the other hand of Obama-Reid-Pelosi?

Obamacare taxes we will be slammed with in 2013

 

After he is elected and cannot be punished at the ballot box, Obama’s misnamed “healthcare” law will slam you with a bunch of new taxes. Additionally, to carry off the fraud that this new law would “only” cost $1 trillion, they slated the taxes to start in 2013, but delayed actual spending for much of the law until 2015, so we have two years of tax collections without any commensurate benefits. Finally, about half the actual costs are unfunded mandates that states and private businesses will have to absorb. Since they are by definition not “costs to the federal government” they are not counted.

Of course, we warned you repeatedly about this before this monstrosity even became law, but the endlessly duplicitous Democrats, with the help of a few seditious Republicans, rammed it through despite the many protests. For their part, Congressional Republicans were typically feckless. Add to that the last minute defection of Justice John Roberts, who will go down in history as one of the worst ever, this thing is a national disgrace on all levels.

Our only recourse now is complete repeal, something which Romney promises to do. Will he keep his promise? If we get a Republican majority in the Senate, will they go along? Those are our only options. If not, here are some of the things we can expect, starting one month after the election.
