America’s Progressive Angels of Death

Evil is alive, evil is well.
Evil is alive, evil is well.
Now on your feet to the tower and yell,  “Evil is alive, and well.”

—Jakob Dylan, “Evil is Alive,” from Seeing Things

“The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential. “
—From “The Nuremberg Code”

“I consider myself a modern Progressive.”

Tuskeegee

My friend Kelleigh Nelson has been publishing a series of disturbing articles, about some horrific medical experiments conducted by the US over the years.  (Link) (Link)

The experiments reminded me of Dr. Mengele (the Nazi “Angel of Death”), and the experiments conducted at various Nazi death camps.  Knowing of the bond between the Nazis, and the eugenic teachings of left-wing American Progressives, I asked Kelleigh if there was any connection between the US experiments, and the Progressives, and/or Nazis.

Kelleigh told me that she didn’t know for sure, but she suspected as much, and maybe it was something that I might want to look into.  After the news broke recently about US Public Health Service (PHS) experiments conducted on unsuspecting Guatemalans in the 1940s, I decided that I would indeed look into things, and what I found is beyond disturbing.

As Jonah Goldberg points out in his landmark book “Liberal Fascism,” when liberals want to disown one of their mistakes, they blame it on conservatives, and if that option isn’t available, they blame it on America—“It’s all America’s fault.”  Neat trick, huh?

The truth of the matter is that these despicable experiments—Tuskegee, Guatemala, et al.—are not “America’s fault,” but the perverted brain-children of left-wing Progressives, and left-wing Nazis imported into the US following The Second World War.

Before getting onto the details of “Operation Paperclip,” and the importation of Nazis into the US after WW II, it would behoove us to refresh our memories regarding the nature of Fascism.

The term Fascism was coined by Benito Mussolini, who was raised on Marxism with his mother’s milk—his father used to read to the family from Marx’s “Das Kapital.”  (Link)

Although Fascism is a Far Left doctrine, Mussolini’s Italian Fascist regime (1922-1943) had some “quirks” that differentiated it from Communism.  Of particular importance, was the fact that it was a national variation of Marxism, and not an international variation, like Communist Russia’s.  (Link)

Fascism was a Far Left doctrine from the get-go

One of Mussolini’s more famous slogans was, “Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State”—or in Americanese—“Everything in the Federal Government, nothing outside the Federal Government, nothing against the Federal Government.”  That’s not exactly a right-wing, small government, stance.  Fascism was a Far Left doctrine from the get-go.    (Link)

Fascism should never be confused with capitalism, and free enterprise.  For one thing, Fascism entails the collusion between big government, and big corporations.  For example, GE (General Electric) is in bed with the US government, and owns a number of propaganda outlets, including: Universal Pictures, NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, History Channel, SciFi, Bravo, Hallmark, Oxygen, A&E, Sundance, Biography, Telemundo, Hulu, USA, Military History, Diva TV, and several other channels.  (Link) (Link)

Adolph Hitler, took his cue from Italy, and started his own Fascist Party in Germany—the National Sozialistische Deutsche Arbeiter Partei (NSDAP, or in English, NAZI—from four letters in “NAtional soZIalistische”).  The National Socialist German Workers Party?  Socialist Workers Party?  Hello?  Far Left all the way.  (Link)

Hitler’s Fascism was similar to Mussolini’s Fascism, but with the added fillip of rabid anti-Semitism, and a love for American Progressive eugenics.  (Link)

So why are Nazis typically associated with the right-wing, and conservatives?  Good question.  The main reason why the Nazis are still largely believed to be a right-wing phenomena (at least by many on the left) is because Stalin declared the Fascists to be persona non grata, and sent out word to the party faithful around the globe, that fascists were no longer to be considered “part of the family.”  (Link)

As Jonah Goldberg puts it, “Eventually, international communism reserved for itself the absolute right to declare whomever it desired to delegitimize, a Nazi or fascist, without appeal to reason or fact.”  (Link)

To drive the point home, Fascists were declared to be (gasp) right-wing.  The party faithful in the media, especially in America, did such a good job of distancing themselves from the fascists, and painting them in such negative hues, that many believe Fascists to be a right-wing phenomena, to this day.      (Link)

Fascists, and in particular the Nazis, are Far Left “kissing cousins” to the Communists

Is any of this important?  Absolutely—vitally important.  Knowing that the Fascists, and in particular the Nazis, are Far Left “kissing cousins” to the Communists, helps to explain a lot of otherwise confusing realities—dangerous realities.    (Link)

In The Force of Reason, Oriana Fallaci quotes from a Fascist magazine printed in 1944, “Should the Axis Rome-Berlin-Tokyo miss victory, the majority of Fascists… would go over to Communism.  They would make common cause with it, and this would cross the gap that today separates the two revolutions.”

The Fascists did indeed make “common cause” with the Communists after WW II, and we have been experiencing the effects for some time.  For example, it is not by accident that George Soros, who collaborated with the Nazis as a young teen, has been working so assiduously to destroy America.  (Link)

(The collusion between the Nazis and radical Islam is well recorded, and I’ll just mention it in passing).    (Link)

American Progressive eugenicists, and former German Nazis

Nor is it happenstance that American Progressive eugenicists, and former German Nazis, should wind up conducting inhumane experiments under the auspices of the US military, CIA, and other US government agencies.  (Link) (Link)

I should mention that Hitler’s ally in the East, Japan, conducted their own reprehensible experiments on humans.  Primarily at the infamous Unit 731.  The officers in charge of Unit 731 never faced a Nuremberg-style trial—scientists from Fort Detrick, Maryland (the US Army’s bacterial and chemical research unit) recommended that Unit 731’s scientists be granted immunity in exchange for their data.

At any rate, to get back to the core of this article; Dr. Susan Reverby of Wellesley College recently disclosed some despicable medical research undertaken under the auspices of the US PHS in Guatemala during 1946-48, by Dr. John C. Cutler.  (Link)

Tuskegee Study

Dr. Reverby is best known for her books on the obscene Tuskegee Study, which ran for forty years, from 1932 to 1972.  During the Tuskegee Study black males with syphilis were allowed to go untreated, while the debilitating effects of the disease were studied.  Dr. Cutler was involved in both experiments/studies.  (Link)

The experiments in Guatemala were different, in that the test subjects did not start out having syphilis—they were purposefully infected with it.  Because the male inmates in the Guatemala City prison were allowed to be visited by prostitutes, the prostitutes who were known to carry syphilis were given preferential visitation rights.

When too few men contracted syphilis, the “doctors put infectious material on the cervixes of uninfected prostitutes before they had sex with prisoners,” according to The Washington Post. Doctors also “used needles to scrape the arms, faces or mouths of the women to try to infect them.”    (Link)

When still not enough patients were developing syphilis, the doctors involved resorted to “direct inoculations made from syphilis bacteria poured into the men’s penises and on forearms and faces that were slightly abraded…or in a few cases through spinal punctures.”  In some cases, the patients were given “syphilitic tissue mixed with distilled water” to drink.    (Link)

Similar experiments were run on soldiers in Guatemalan Army barracks, and on men and women in the National Mental Health Hospital.  “PHS physician R.C. Arnold, who supervised Cutler, was…troubled, confiding to Cutler, ‘I am a bit, in fact more than a bit, leery of the experiment with the insane people. They can not give consent, do not know what is going on, and if some goody organization got wind of the work, they would raise a lot of smoke.’”      (Link)

People like Cutler and Arnold often can’t tell the difference between right and wrong, but they generally grasp the concept of legal versus illegal, of freedom and jail.  Yeah, you had better believe that “we the people” would have raised a lot of “smoke.”

Progressive Margaret Sanger’s Planned Parenthood

Cutler’s wife Eliese often helped him in the field.  She said that “John understood the importance of population control”—which she considered to be one of her husband’s chief passions.  Both Cutlers were involved with Progressive Margaret Sanger’s Planned Parenthood (an oxymoron if there ever was one).  (Link)

The American Dr. Mengele, Dr. John C. Cutler

Dr. Cutler died in 2003.  Margaret Kimberly writes, “The American Dr. Mengele, Dr. John C. Cutler, who infected human beings with syphilis in… Guatemala, died in the bosom of Yale University, a man of honor and high esteem.”      (Link)

Around the same time that Cutler was involved down in Guatemala, the US government was involved in Operation Paperclip, which involved importing former Nazis from Europe, into the United States.

Most famously,  Wernher von Braun—who went from launching V-2 rockets in Peenemünde, Germany, to heading up NASA’s space program for the US.  The V-2 rockets he worked on, killed or injured thousands of people in England—mostly civilians.  Thousands died working as slave labor making the rockets, as well.  (Link)

The most infamous project involving former Nazis, was the CIA’s program, code-named MK-ULTRA (perhaps the MK stood for Meinung Kontrolle—mind control—perhaps not).  (Link)

So how far did the Nazi influence reach?  How far has it reached today?  Was the OSS, and later the CIA, so clueless, that they didn’t realize that they were embracing a variant of Communism, in order to fight Communism?  Were they trying to “fight fire with fire?”  (Link)

Looking at “the state of the union” these days—the collusion of big government with big business, our schools as Collectivist indoctrination centers, our entertainment and news venues as propaganda outlets, our dumbed-down and disoriented populace—I can’t say that I think their strategy has worked out too well, at least as far as keeping America a free republic is concerned.    (Link)

Liberals treat talk of “Death Panels” and such, as a joke, but for those of us who know the history of the Progressives, Nazi eugenicists, and Far Left social engineers, it’s no joke.    (Link)

Along with the NWO Power Elites, they all seem to have this penchant for population control, a fact that ought to be making “we the people” sit up and pay attention.  (Link)

At the end of the day, this is not a liberal/conservative, or left/right issue.  As Reagan might have said, this is an up and down issue.  “Up to man’s age-old dream—the maximum of individual freedom consistent with order, or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism.”      (Link)

This is what you get when you destroy, dilute, and pervert the Judeo/Christian roots of Western Civilization, and supplant it with secular humanism.  Replacing God with the State never works out well.  (Link)

Materialism replaces a semi-divine being, “fearfully and wonderfully made,” with a valueless hunk of meat (which granted, may be of some value to the state, during its “productive” years).  You should vote as if your life depended on it this November—because it very well might.  (Link)

Laus Deo.

P.S.  I’ve given Fox News pundit Bill O’Reilly a hard time in the past, but I also will give him credit when it’s due.  His recent appearance on “The View” caused Whoopi Goldberg, and Joy Behar, to walk off the set in a huff, or a snit, or whatever.  Kudos to O’Reilly for sticking to his guns in this case.  However, he quickly drained away his recently acquired credit with me, during a lame interview with some liberal bimbo, during “The O’Reilly Factor” that night, so we’re back to square one.  (Link)

Born in June of 1951 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jim O’Neill proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1970-1974 in both UDT-21 (Underwater Demolition Team) and SEAL Team Two.  A member of MENSA, he worked as a commercial diver in the waters off Scotland, India, and the United States. In 1998 while attending the University of South Florida as a journalism student, O’Neill won “First Place” in the “Carol Burnett/University of Hawaii AEJMC Research in Journalism Ethics Award.”  The annual contest was set up by Carol Burnett with the money she won from successfully suing the National Enquirer for libel.
