The resemblance struck me over and over again this very long weekend. I don’t want to take much time for it, so I won’t, but I’ll share my impression of a resemblance between two… pretty ladies at… special times in their lives.

Iconic, or just ironic? Jane Fonda, circa November 1970, at a special time which happened to be about the time she starred in the movie, Klute and when she was collaborating with Vietnamese communists.

And as long as I’ve gone that far, it might be helpful to note tips for us all, at public banquets:
- Don’t make impudent 12-year old faces at your table-mates.
- Elbows off the table.
- Don’t go for the nose, at least not with fingertips.
Personally, I may tend to think of things like this resemblance with hairstyle, stemming from the symbolism of the anarcho-communist black and red on the diagonal that the Obama family featured at Grant Park, on election night 2008, shown here and elsewhere.

I think they used to call Fonda’s hair style a kind of “shag,” whereas Obama’s is more of a Dutch Boy? Any help from people who know about these things? (I’ve just been living in this culture for nearly 54 years.) The difference seems to be an inch or so, here and there around the ears.

Michelle Obama with a Jane Fonda haircut from the movie Klute. John Kerry is Secretary of State. The two people, that I believe, committed treason in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Jane Fonda for going to Viet Nam and spewing propaganda and John Kerry going to France to conspire with the enemy.
What else would you expect from the Obama administration?
And don’t even get me started on Michelle Obama’s Thesis about how blacks turn into Whitie when they become educated.
