Anthony Weiner’s Self-Exalted, Ignorant Disdain of American Citizens

Reported at Mediaite:

Bill Maher And Rep. Weiner Go After Beck, Palin And ClarenceThomas’s Wife

Given some of Rep. Anthony Weiner’s other TV appearances, putting him on Real Time with Bill Maher on uncensored HBO seemed like a can’t-miss idea. And if there was no talking over one another like, say, here, there were plenty of cracks about Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Glenn Beck’s audience…and Clarence Thomas‘ wife.Maher opined that perhaps the influence of Palin and Beck had peaked, that “the fever has broken on crazy” in America. Weiner agreed, while also taking a bizarre crack at Beck’s audience, first saying he has “less than 300,000 viewers” (not according to this), and then said that equated to about “150 shoes” among the lot. The American Spectator’s John Fund also agreed that the intensity of Beck’s popularity might have waned, though he figured the results of November’s elections – and the belief President Obama was moving to the political center – had much to do with it (and he corrected Weiner on the size of Beck’s audience).

Then, talk turned to Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas and his wife, who works for the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank. Recently, news came out that Thomas “amended 13 years’ worth of disclosure reports,” which previously omitted the details of his wife’s work with the Heritage Foundation. Maher wondered, “Should he really be on the Supreme Court if he can’t even check the box?” Weiner thought Thomas should “recuse himself from any decision about the health care plan,” while Fund argued for judging Thomas and his wife separately. Weiner wasn’t hearing it, calling Thomas’ wife “a walking conflict of interest.”

Please watch the video of this segment.  Their arrogance is breathtaking, their disdain is palpable.  How did these people decide that we are stupid and they are the geniuses who are ordained to save us from ourselves with their hyperintelligent plans?

Isn’t this how the plantation masters thought and felt about their slaves, the ignorant savages who worked their lives away in the fields while the plantation owners took the fruit of their labors, built mansions and lived in luxury and treated those who planted and plowed and harvested as nothing more than chattel?  Is this how the elite, the upper class, the privileged truly see “we the people” from whom they wrest all the income from our labors and deign to return the “services” they ‘deem’ necessary for our survival while they live lives of luxury in palatial mansions, jet-setting to every corner of the world, vacationing on pristine beaches far from the madding crowd?

Americans, have we become the fodder for the machines which supply their lives of privilege?  Are we to be  indebted while they enjoy what we have rightly earned?  The definition of privilege: claim, entitlement, right; birthright; perquisite, prerogative; charter, grant, patent; exemption, immunity, waiver….

“We are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights…”

Our forefathers fought and died to set us free from the privileged class of the nobility.  Will we be the generation to acquiesce our liberty and once again become their serfs?

Did I mention that Rep Anthony Wiener recently married the Muslim Chief of Staff of the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton?

Reported in the Washington Post:

Clintons celebrate wedding of Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner

“I have one daughter,” said the former president, pulling Chelsea into a hug. “But if I had a second daughter, it would Huma.”

The striking brunette, 34, has been working as Hillary’s right hand since 1996, and at her side through the Senate and presidential campaigns and move to the State Department last year. Abedin quietly started dating Weiner, 45, two years ago, and they announced their engagement last summer.

It was “love at first sight” for Weiner, Hillary told the crowd Wednesday. The Clintons encouraged the match between the Muslim beauty who grew up in Saudi Arabia and the Jewish Democrat from New York City. The couple represents, Bill said in his toast, what he wants “the future of the world to be.”

The party was filled with family, Clinton friends (Terry McAuliffe, Melanne Verveer, Bob Barnett), and plenty of pols including most of the New York delegation. Guests lingered late into the night, then the secretary of state left Thursday for a visit to Europe — the first State Department trip without Abedin, who stayed behind to finalize plans for the wedding.

And I invite you to take a look at the real Bill Maher at Booker Rising:

Bill Maher Says President Obama Should Start Acting Like “A Real Black President” by Going Gangsta On BP: Bookerista Reaction

DarkKnight, a conservative Republican blogger [ed. outer quote is his, as he quotes Maher]: “Take for example this comment on Obama’s handling of the BP oil spill: ‘I thought when we elected a black president, we were going to get a black president. You know, this [BP oil spill] is where I want a real black president. I want him in a meeting with the BP CEOs, you know, where he lifts up his shirt where you can see the gun in his pants. That’s — (in black man voice) we’ve got a ‘motherf***ing problem here?’ Shoot somebody in the foot.’  Would you think this person is a racist? How about if I told you the originator of the quote above once said ‘I don’t know, it was just, it was just a crappy week for America. The oil spill making a huge mess. And Arizona deporting all the people who mop up.’ Is that racist? What if this same someone was sued by an African-American ex-girlfriend for physical and verbal abuse, including making ‘degrading racial comments?’ By now you would have to conclude that the person I’m referring to is clearly a racist. After all, Rush Limbaugh, who played a song parody called ‘Barack, the Magic Negro,’ based on a column by an African-American writer calling Barack Obama a ‘magic Negro,’ is called a racist. Tea Partiers who protest Obama because of his policies are called racist. Surely anyone depicting our first African-American president as a stereotypical  gangsta thug would be called a racist as well.”

  1. With a name like Wiener , would you not stay mad all the time or change it ? WIENER GOT HIS NAME HONEST .

  2. Two dumb guys who by the way are self loathing Jews that cheerlead for Islamofacsism. Weiner is the poster child for the typical New Yorker that Americans in fly over country think of, arrogant, self centered and most of all esp after 911 STUPID. Weiner is a shakedown artist who happened to get himself at the big table , the guy’s a typical commie bedwetter. Way to defeat him is start asking questions about money sources in his campaigns- he will really start getting crazy.

  3. That baseball cap picture brings a thought to mind…..Know what i mean Vern?
