Where’s the exterminator?
Termites don’t care whether there’s a hurricane or tornado raging outside. They just keep chomping away at the foundation of their host structure. Homeowners care. When a hurricane, tornado or storms threaten, homeowners do whatever they can to prevent their home from blowing away. Rarely are they even aware that the termites are chomping away, night and day, rain or shine – until it’s too late to save the structure.
Advocates for Agenda 21 and sustainable development operate a lot like termites. It doesn’t matter to them whether hurricanes, tornados, debt ceilings or deficits are in the news. They try to operate well below the headlines – and just keep chomping away at private property rights, individuals’ freedoms, free markets and the foundational pillars of the host governing system. They chomp away at city council meetings, at county commission meetings, at “visioning sessions” and anywhere else they can get their teeth into an unsuspecting official who still thinks Agenda 21 is just a conspiracy theory and that the word “sustainable” means “acceptable” to the green lobby.

When a visioning process blossoms into a comprehensive land-use plan for the county that is adopted by local elected officials, no one puts the spotlight on the provision that requires all landowners to get permission from the government for any proposed land-use change. In Los Angeles County, no one put the spotlight on the provision that subjected property owners to eviction and forfeiture of their property when they failed to bring their property up to the new codes contained in the plan.
Advocates of Agenda 21’s sustainable development did not want people who live outside the Urban Boundary Zones in Richland County, S.C., to know that the value of their property fell to nearly zero when their county plan denied all development possibilities.

Advocates of Agenda 21’s sustainable development often believe that capitalism is obsolete, that government must manage the marketplace. Congress was dominated by people who share this belief when they voted in 2007 to ban the incandescent light bulb, forcing people to buy a light bulb that cost five times as much, and was made in China.
These folks applaud actions by the Environmental Protection Administration that seek to force car manufacturers to increase their mileage efficiency to more than 56 miles per gallon. Like termites chomping at the foundation of a structure, government continues to take bits and pieces of freedom from its citizens. Unless someone calls the exterminator, the great structure freedom built will inevitably collapse.
Cars, the invention that gave man a new understanding of freedom, are rapidly becoming the instrument through which government can deprive man of freedom. It is now possible for government to control your car’s operation through an “On Star”-type device developed to allow government to tax drivers not only by the gallons purchased, but by the number of miles driven. Moreover, these devices can vary the tax rate, to charge more for traveling into a congested area or for driving during rush hours. The Obama administration wants to implement this technology.

It gets worse. California’s Pacific Gas & Electric has already installed nearly 8 million, of 10 million planned, “Smart Meters.” This device was originally intended to read your meter and transmit consumption data back to the company, thus eliminating the need for an army of meter readers. But, then someone got the idea of using the device to control the flow of electricity into a structure, should there be a shortage of electricity. What a great device. If it can transmit consumption data to the utility’s office, why should it not also report what appliances used the electricity, and the hours of the day the appliances were in use?
These devices have the potential to run a home – or to shut a home completely down. Under the control of government, these devices can essentially eliminate the last vestige of freedom.
These are only a few ways the progressive termites are eating away at the foundations of freedom in America. Where is the exterminator?
Every person who is old enough to vote is a potential exterminator of the elected officials who support or allow measures that erode freedom. Throughout the next 18 months, tens of thousands of officials and candidates will confront a ballot box. Unless the potential exterminators use their unique power to banish the termites eating away at America’s freedoms, the house that freedom built will surely fall.

I’ve gotten to the point now where I will vote for anyone who will get the UN out of our lives. These puffed up ,self important money grubbers are good for nothing excfept doing the power elites bidding, that has changed recently now that Obama has given them power they never had before, Obama signed the law of the Seas Treaty giving his idols,the UN, complete control of our water, what did they do to deserve that? They have never done anything for this country, 9-11 they were absent until they hung their flag next to ours at the same height as if we were partners at the 9-11 memorial service, they did not come to help when it happened, they never sent one troop to help.
The mass immigration and the overcowding of all countries with their refugees is now a talking point for them, over population and using all of our resources and all the rest of it is their fault, this is not normal immigration, this is dumping half of the middle East and Africa at everyones door step and we all pay for it, since there are no jobs for them they go on welfare and we pay. The UN were whining about the endangered species dying off even though they have conserved millions of acres of land and water for them, they were here when the UN conserved our land so no one was bothering them, same with the millions of acres of pristine land they have grabbed, it was pristine when they grabbed it so who was bothering it? also pollution and global warming are killing these species off, The same old chestnut. I was amazed they even posted that article, I ignore them completely, they are not Americans and they are not elected officials, who are they that they can start a war and get us into it, I thought they were peacekeepers and humanitarians? I have never seen them do a humane thing for anyone except ask for money and when they get it the money never quite makes it to the people that need it. The power elite back them because they run errands and do chores for them, fine, let the power elite do soemthing about their problems, I ignore them, I don’t even know who they are, most people don’t, they just came in and took over, get them out and half our problems will be solved and pass a law they can never be reinstated, I’m positive all the other countries will do the same, the immigration problem has fixed that. They are not qualified to even talk about the things they seem so expert on, they paid 8,000 scientists in the 80’s to say anything the UN wanted them to , they got grants, Global warming was their specialty, they have now backtracked on that when wikileak exposed them but the UN persists, I dont’ know who they think they are or who they think they are talkiing to but someone shoudl show them the door and recover that building the rockefellers gave them in NY, tax free, and make it a homeless shelter thats more humane than they are.
I will never forgive Obama and Hillary Clinton for turning us into that rag tag bunch of bums for crimes against humanity, like two little snitches , as if the people on that board could actually judge us, cameroon? Gadhaffi? who we are now trying to kill, is it me or are we everything the other countries say we are, the Ugly American.NO we are not but I know who is and it isn’t us, its our leadership and the dogs that run our leadership, the UN. The fact that they would allow those FEMA camps to go up in the first place during Bush and the great lie speaks volumes for where we are headed, if the UN were so Humanitanian they would shut them down or better yet, lock Janet Napolitano into one of them and lock the doors. One less Gulag Queen. All I can say is down with the UN or we will never be free again. Its about time we let Americans run this country, we are after all, Americans. The star program and the smart meters are all part of Agenda 21, that is the UN’s baby, they are to blame for all of that, they want us unable to own homes an travel to work on our own, homeownership builds wealth and its not fair to the people who can’t afford a home, their words not mine, I guess a car makes you look wealthy, you can also escape in one so thats out. They know what they can do with agenda 21. Why people are putting up with this is beyond me, if I can’t get service unless I have one of these spy meters then I guess I would have to use a generator, let them eat cake. A TV A refridgerator and a couple of lamps, what more could I ask for and I save on a big bill. There is also solar power, try lighting the yard with those lamps for awhile. I’d rather rough it than let them tell me how much electricity I can use, I’m paying for it not them, if they feel we are using too much power and its hurting the country they can re-send the middle eastern and African people back to where they came from. same with the mexicans, they are all using our resources. end of story.
