At this point, it appears to me that there were significant ballistics on the Mexican side, quite near the American border and that the police were called to action, to investigate whether this meant any violent threat within the U.S.A. It also appears that no great violence within our borders was found. “It appears….”
Gulag Bound agrees with the need to put pressure on such a story and make sure there are no cover-ups.

Update 7/26: Multiple news reports indicate this violence did not spill across the border to Texas. The battle was torrid and deadly, south of the border, however. And yes, the violence especially in Mexico, but also on the American side, caused by Mexicans illegally in the U.S. is underreported.
