February 16, 1970, the Weatherman Murder of Sgt. Brian McDonnell

Today is the anniversary of the February 16, 1970, bombing of the Park Police Station in San Francisco . Several police officers were injured and one, Sgt. Brian V. McConnell, died, after two agonizing days of suffering in a hospital. We have been trying for years to get justice in the case.

The Officer Down Memorial Page notes: Sergeant McDonnell had served with the San Francisco Police Department for 20 years. He is survived by his son, daughter, parents, brother, and sister. His father was a former San Francisco Police sergeant.

This is one of the heavy metal staples from the bomb. It exploded and the staples ripped through Sgt. McDonnell and other officers.

The bombing was listed by the FBI as the work of the Weather Underground, but Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, two of its top members and associates of Barack Obama, never claimed credit for the blast. They have tried to insist over the years that their bombs never hurt or killed anyone, except their own members. However, the consistent testimony of former FBI informant Larry Grathwohl, who participated in meetings with Ayers, has been that Ayers told him that Dohrn planted the bomb.

Larry has been working with us for years, and his most recent comments on this case were made at our October 21, 2010, “Marxism in America ” conference. You can read them here. The case is still open and the Phoenix Task Force is investigating.

I personally confronted Ayers and Dohrn about their reported roles in the bombing. You can see my YouTube video of this confrontation here.

America’s Survival, Inc released a 7-part video interview series, “MARXIST TERROR IN AMERICA,” with Max Noel, former FBI agent and member of the Weatherman Task Force, and Larry Grathwohl, at our conference. You can see them here.

We are under no illusions that the Obama Administration will react favorably. After all, Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, was involved in the Clinton Administration pardons of members of the Weather Underground and Puerto Rican FALN terrorist group. But the director of the FBI, Robert Mueller, is independent of the Administration and doesn’t have to answer to Holder or Obama.

With enough public support and evidence, the pressure to seek and obtain justice in this case will mount and the authorities will have no choice but to act.

Please acquaint yourself with the facts of this case. Remember Sgt. McDonnell on this day.

Help us spread the truth. Help us bring the terrorists — and those who protect them — to justice.

For America ‘s Survival,

Cliff Kincaid, President
