Yet, most Americans snooze on!
I would hope that any loyal, patriotic military officer asked such a thing would snap a salute and say, “Yes Sir, Mister President, I’ll gun ’em down like dogs, Sir.” And then, when the actual order comes through, suddenly develop ‘communication problems’. Otherwise bastards who might actually pull the trigger will be running the show.
