The Constitution & Justice John Roberts’ Liberalism; Can Romney Man-up?

SCOTUS Chief Justice John Roberts

Today, the Supreme Court shows itself to be Liberal 5 to 3 with one Justice considered a swing vote. Unfortunately, the future of this country now depends on SCOTUS justices – not the vision of the Founders!

Assuming Obama is out in January 2013, Romney may have three Court appointments to make (Ginsburg, Breyer, Kennedy). It will be imperative – a sobering task that will set the future of this Nation – that Romney appoint strict constitutionalists. This will be Romney’s greatest challenge. I hope he is man enough for the job.

State of SCOTUS today:

Conservative: Alito, Scalia, Thomas

Left: Roberts, Sotomayor, Kagan, Ginsburg, Breyer

Swing: Kennedy

Ginsburg and Breyer may resign sooner rather than later. In July 2010, Kennedy allegedly said he would remain on the Court for at least three more years. Consider it your sobering duty to vote in November 2012.

Well Maggie, considering Mitt Romney was one of the loudest voices imploring the Obama-Pelosi-Reid regime to adopt the individual mandate – then during the presidential campaign lied by denying it  – another of a long litany of lies – this one does not place much stock in that person – not for court nominations – not for repealing Obamacare – not for anything except perhaps for doing as globalist bankster money dictates – much as Obama – and perhaps Roberts. – AW

  1. Arlen, Romney is who we have. It wasn’t going to happen for Newt. We have Romney. I will work for his election. I have no other viable choice.

    • Thanks for the comment, Maggie. The Fall of Man being what it is, I can morally vote for a lesser of two evils. Considering all of Mitt Romney’s track record, including his implementation of testbed Agenda 21 in Massachusetts as well as his individual mandate, and his consistent lying, I don’t see bringing myself to vote for a proffered lesser of two enemies of sovereign America.

Of course, he could recant Agenda 21 while announcing measures to keep himself honest to the American People and then I’d be happy to reconsider.

As for now, I would reflect upon the confession of Carrol Quigley (and much more evidence to go with it): http://gulagbound.com/tag/carroll-quigley.

And I will refer the reader to an ongoing consideration of Barack Obama and Mitt Romney in view of the methodology of the Overton Window: http://gulagbound.com/tag/overton-window-mitt

  2. Plain Old American says

Romney is Obama light. He doesn’t have any testes period. The only thing one can hope for is that Obama gets reelected and the people rightly get pissed and physically throw out all of the lying, conniving, corrupt, perveted traitors in all three branches. Then we look and see if there are a few literate, honest individuals that can comprehend the idea of natural law and articulate that vision to the ignorant masses.

Voting is worthless when ALL politicians are liars!

  3. I just got an email from Romney. It appears he thinks the fight against Obamacare should be worth $10 (and my trust in him, despite his record and his lies). No, Governor, but thanks for the alleged sentiments.

    Arlen,

Today, the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare. But regardless of what the Court said about the constitutionality of the law, Obamacare is bad medicine, it is bad policy, and when I’m President, the bad news of Obamacare will be over.

It was always a liberal pipedream that a 2,700 page, multi-trillion-dollar Federal Government takeover of our health care system actually could address the very serious problems we face with health care. With Obamacare fully installed, government will reach fully half of the economy – that is the recipe for a struggling economy and declining prosperity.

On Day One, I will work to repeal Obamacare to stop the government’s takeover of our health care and intrusion in our lives. I will push for real reform to our health care system that focuses on helping patients and protecting taxpayers.

We cannot afford Barack Obama’s on-the-job learning, Big Government proposals, and irresponsible spending. Our basic liberties are at stake – and I will fight to restore our freedoms, renew the respect for our Constitution, and halt the government takeover of health care.

This November it’s all on the line. The stakes couldn’t be higher.

Donate $10 or more to put a stop to the policies of Barack Obama and the liberal Democrats.

    Thanks,

    Mitt Romney

  4. Conservatives……………..it is now our time to do something about this travesty that took place today. We all need to get out and recruit, get people to sign up and put this matter “to bed” in November! Our country depends on “Us”, not liberals. Liberals are followers of the people who hand them something for “free” which actually is paid for by others!

  5. Why don’t the Republicans use the “Reconciliation” and 51 votes to remove Obamacare from the system? The Democrats used it, without transparency to bring Obamacare to America. Fair play is fair play!
