A Warrior has Fallen.

Gulag Bound Preface:

Please pardon this brought up so soon, but time is of the essence. We suggest and if it were in our power, would demand the greatest level of forensic expertise and attention paid to this death by apparent natural causes. Conclusive expertise applied immediately is much, much better than what comes from any alternative. – AW

Andrew Breitbart was a brave warrior, great guy and committed family man. I met Andrew a few times, most recently at CPAC, and he was a man totally dedicated to the cause. He was absolutely looking forward to all the things he had planned for this year and I hope that his “Big” entities continue to grow and build on his legacy.

“Conservative media publisher and activist Andrew Breitbart, who was behind investigations that led to the resignations of former Rep. Anthony Weiner of New York and former U.S. Agriculture Department official Shirley Sherrod, has died in Los Angeles. He was 43.

Breitbart’s website, bigjournalism.com, announced Thursday he died of natural causes in Los Angeles. His death was confirmed by breitbart.com editor-in-chief Joel Pollak, who said he was at the hospital, and by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

Breitbart was walking near his house in the Brentwood neighborhood shortly after midnight Thursday when he collapsed, said his father-in-law, Orson Bean.

Someone saw him fall and called paramedics, who tried to revive him. They rushed him to the emergency room at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, Bean said.

Breitbart had suffered heart problems a year earlier, but Bean said he could not pinpoint what happened.

On behalf of the team at New Zeal, my thoughts go out to his wife and young family and I hope that our readers support any memorial fund that may be set up for them.

Andrew, we will pick up and continue where you left off, the battle is far from over in this vital year.
